AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is the sequel to the acclaimed visual novel AI: The Somnium Files, released in July 2022. It's written past Kotaro Uchikoshi, who also crafted the story for other well-received visual novels such equally the Zero Escape trilogy and Ever17.

Gear up a few years after the original game, y'all play Mizuki, who now works for ABIS. She's taken on a example dubbed the Half Torso series killings, a series of murders where the unlike halves of peoples' bodies are left at the crime scene. Six years ago, she discovered the right half of a corpse, but the left side was never found until six years later. Despite the long fourth dimension that has passed, the body doesn't have any signs of disuse. Now Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked with solving this bizarre example and the mysterious nirvanA initiative.

Much like the first game, information technology appears that players will swoop into dissimilar characters' Somniums to endeavour and piece together information almost the case. Fans of Uchikoshi's work can expect a baroque mystery full of twists and turns that'll take players guessing until the end.
